As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations, leading team members, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience.

You will play a key leadership role by coaching employees, managing shifts, and helping create a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and team leadership
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth, efficient restaurant performance
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests and creating a positive experience
• Take and process customer orders using the POS system
• Prepare hot and cold subs according to Jersey Mike’s quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment, including slicers, grills, and food preparation tools
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and food safety standards
• Support hiring, training, and development of team members
• Assist with employee scheduling and labor management
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience required
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
• Minimum 2 years of quick-service, fast food, or restaurant experience required
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees
• Dependable, energetic, and committed to delivering excellent service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
