Description

Jersey Mike's in Midlothian/Chesterfield is looking for Shift Leaders or Crew Members with intentions of moving up the ladder. 

Compensation/Benefits:

- No Less than $17 per hour with all compensation included
- Free regular size sandwich plus free drink refills each shift
- Health, vision, and dental insurance benefit packages available
- Paid Training in our own Training Facility.
- No experience necessary 
- Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years of age or older due to equipment age-restrictions.

- Must be hardworking, trustworthy, and punctual.

- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

- Able to work flexible hours (can be full/part-time.)

Job Requirements:

The primary requirement of a Jersey Mike’s employee is commitment to company goals:

•  Create food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high quality standards

•  Maintain a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others while upholding Virginia Food Safety standards.

•  Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency

•  Interact with customers and provide an exceptional experience

•  Full understanding of the terms accountability and integrity

•  Participate in both Training Center programs, typically Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm (Training Center is in the back of our Jersey Mike's located at 11413 Midlothian Turnpike)

Key Competencies:

-Demonstrate excellent menu and product knowledge 
-Desire to improve self and skill sets 
-Able to communicate effectively with guests, as well as employees, and have an awesome personality
-Ability to meet schedule requirements and be a reliable performer 

Physical Demands:

- Capability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
- Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
- Frequent, repetitive motion of shoulder and elbow to operate the slicer (if 18 and older only)
- Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
