The Jazz Café is one of London’s most iconic live music venues, and great drinks are central to the experience we deliver. We’re looking for bartenders who care about consistency, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to develop within a team that takes pride in service. In this role, you’ll be preparing cocktails and serves to a high standard, keeping the bar running smoothly, and making sure every guest feels welcome.

What you’ll do:

• Serve great drinks: mix cocktails and classic serves with accuracy and consistency

• Look after guests: provide a warm, professional service every time

• Keep the bar moving: stay organised, stocked, and ready for busy shifts

• Work as a team: support your colleagues and deliver service together

• Solid experience behind a busy bar in a fast-paced environment.

• A team player with excellent communication skills who can thrive under pressure.

• A passion for music, culture, and the lively spirit of London’s nightlife.

• A strong desire to grow—our Head Bartenders are promoted from within, and our Columbo Academy programme is designed to help our team become future leaders.

What to Expect:

• Competitive Pay: £12.25 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £12.75 - £14.50 per hour). Hourly wages are paid every 2 weeks on a Friday and tronc is paid on the last Friday of the month.

• The Jazz Cafe is a lively music venue in the heart of Camden. Our teams work evening shifts over the week. 

• A relaxed dress code—no uniforms here; just bring your best self.
