Shift Leader – Jersey Mike’s Subs

PG1 Restaurants is looking for a Shift Leader to join the Jersey Mike’s family in La Plata, MD!

If you are dependable, positive, hardworking, and ready to lead by example, we want to meet you!

As a Shift Leader, you will help lead the team and keep the restaurant running smoothly throughout the shift.

• Lead and support the team throughout the shift

• Keep the team organized and focused during busy periods

• Follow and uphold company policies, procedures, Core Values, and operating standards

• Hold yourself and the team accountable to the standard

• Ensure every sub is made correctly, including Mike’s Way

• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest service

• Support labor, cash, inventory, and shift goals

• Coach and mentor team members

• Handle guest concerns professionally

• Lead by example and protect and promote our culture

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this leadership position and to operate the mechanical slicer

• Open availability – must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Previous leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience

• Strong customer service skills

• Good communication skills

• Reliable and dependable

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Able to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to work alongside the team

• Coachable and willing to learn

• Takes pride in doing things the right way
