| Jersey Mikes-A sub above If you like to have fun and be around people in a fast paced work environment, then working at Jersey Mike’s is the job for you. Besides learning about running a successful business, growing your career/skillset and pleasing people with our great authentic sub sandwiches, you'll also learn a whole new level of social engagement and customer service that will reward you for life. What we expect from TEAM MEMBERS -Reliability and consistency. We are looking for team members who arrive on time to shifts throughout the week and follow proper company protocol if unable to do so. This makes shifts more fun, efficient and balances the workload evenly among team members. -Create food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high quality standards while demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude with guests. -Continuously strive to maintain a store that is clean, tidy, and one that has a fun and supportive company culture. -Comfortability or the ability to be trained to work efficiently, focused, and with a sense of urgency at all times. -Ability to multitask while having warm and friendly interactions. To provide an exceptional experience for guests and new team members alike. -Slicer operators MUST be 18 years of age or older, however team members typically swap stations and share all duties at Jersey Mikes. -Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler. What you can expect from JERSEY MIKES SUBS -Cash and credit card tip sharing with team members. -Flexible scheduling, paid training, and lots of GROWTH opportunities and promotion for those that are self-lead and motivated. Our franchisee group has MULTIPLE exciting and busy Jersey Mikes locations and more to come in the future!! -Lines, positive energy, and fun times!! We are the best sub shop on the planet and our guests certainly agree! Shifts go by very fast and are usually the busiest during lunch rushes. We do however have a range of shifts available throughout the day that are offered. -To be fully coached in our training program so that you are equipped with the skills to execute all menu items and engage with guests. -Duties involve preparing foods, taking orders, cleaning work stations, ringing up purchases, and answering questions regarding all menu items, services, and policies. We strive to get to know our guests, as well as their names and orders so that we develop a better personal connection with our community. -Other important aspects of our role as team members include organizing and preparing catering orders or online orders. Jersey Mike's Subs started out in 1956 in Point Pleasant New Jersey, and has been making amazing subs ever since! The Jersey Mikes tradition was founded on a strong sense of community and commitment to the personal and professional development of our people. Our goal is to serve the highest quality sub sandwiches to our customer in a manner that projects a thankful and caring mentality to every person that comes through our door. Our culture is a culture of giving, as well as supporting our local communities so that all can come together and support each other. |
