JOB TITLE: North America Shared Services Manager, Payment and Gift Card
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director-Enterprise, Security, and Payment JFC-North America
Location: West Covina, CA or Denver, CO
The North America Shared Services Manager, Payment and Gift Card will report to Sr. Director-Enterprise, Security, and Payment for JFC-North America ; the individual will be responsible for supporting credit/debit card programs, gift card programs and alternative methods of payment including cryptocurrency, Peer to Peer payment, and other means of electronic money movement to include credit card marketing, inclusive of managing relationships within the credit card, gift card and alternate payment sales and distribution channels and business process day to day relationships.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Oversight and support of each brands credit card and gift card program, inclusive of driving the program, sharing of best practices, soliciting, and developing a joint Jollibee NA 3–5-year long term gift card and alternate payments strategy.
- Help to ensure that we connect the brands and the related credit card/gift card/alternate payments strategy with cross-functional departments to ensure we minimize costs and maximize the economy of scale value and revenue opportunity generated from the strength of a comprehensive world class North American gift card/alternate payments program
- Support, manage and oversee the underlying processes and teams of individuals that support the credit/gift card/alternate payments program, inclusive of maximizing our reach and value associated with the annual program and enhance loyalty opportunities to drive retention and frequency visitation through comprehensive collaboration through leveraged engagement of all methods of payment and digital marketing to drive traffic and revenue for each JFC Brand and collectively for JFC-NA as a whole
- Leverage and manage third party promotional opportunities and manage vendors, including periodic reviews and oversee roadmap innovation. Creating growth partnerships maximizes the opportunity of marketing amongst all JFC-NA Brands.
- Support in developing annual targets, a revenue and marketing growth strategy, new channels of distribution, evolving payment changes and enhancement, identifying new markets and mediums to promote the brands and drive cash and value in concert with the broader marketing strategy to drive reach amongst new demographic segments that maximize traffic growth to create long-term stability for JFC-NA
- Maintain credit card relationship and support the process of validating changes in credit card law and work to establish thresholds and best practices to minimize credit card fraud and chargeback liability while building brand payment reputation through best practices in the payment industry.
- Support the timely accounting and valuation of any gift card liabilities, inclusive of working with JWS to ensure the liabilities and corresponding accounts are consistently recorded using industry accepted assumptions and estimates, account reconciliations are prepared timely, journal entries are posted, and the books and records accurately reflect any outstanding liabilities.
- Collaborate with finance, human resources, legal, marketing and operations to support business priorities to ensure that the credit card processes/gift card processes/alternate payments are creating and maximizing value throughout JFC NA
- Integral to future operational and strategic priorities to support growth, efficiencies, and scale (i.e., implementing ERP, developing one JFC technological platform, creating best in class marketing and operational practices across all brands, maximizing benefit of JWS, driving integration of future acquisitions, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business requires; MBA preferred BA in Finance or Marketing and/or MBA and/or franchise restaurant experience a plus.
- 5+ years of experience as a payments program manager with experience and exposure to sales and/or credit card/gift card/alternate payments programs
- Ability to utilize Microsoft tools required (MS Excel - Pivot tables, vLookUp, Macros, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Direct experience using ERP systems, such as Tableau, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP or equivalent; ERP migration and/or implementation experience a plus.
- Experience utilizing many tools and systems assembled in support of a high growth and/or start up organization.
- Strong time management and project management skills efficiently working with deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, teams of people and to effectively navigate and be successful in a matrix designed multinational organization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to motivate team and others that are not direct reports.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment with impeccable diligence.
