JOB SUMMARY
The Trade and Channels Marketing Specialist assigned in the US locations collaborates closely with the Trade and Channels Marketing Manager in conceptualizing, implementing, and managing creative sales solutions in retail and channels through careful trade area analysis, strategic sales building initiatives, appropriate promotional programs, effective merchandising, innovative customer touch point activities, and consumer insight--- all of which should be consistent to the Brand, Product, Restaurant (BPR) guidelines.

The primary responsibilities include but not limited to implementing marketing strategies for existing and emerging business channels (e.g. delivery, online and institutional) that will drive growth by expanding the target consumer base, ensuring smooth execution of all systemwide marketing activities (i.e. New Product Launches, Promotions, and Merchandising) and local marketing activities.

This role will also assist in driving brand growth by ensuring the execution of innovative marketing programs and assist in addressing trade area nuances by expanding the consumer base, driving sales initiatives, and guaranteeing brand consistency across various marketing platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Trade Marketing Support:

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of product launch merchandising, planograms, and cross-selling initiatives aligned with shopper behavior and brand recipe.
  • Provide operational support and recommendations for store opening activities and regional store marketing development.
  • Collaborate on aligning operations, Marketing, and other teams to execute effective sales-generating promotions and brand activations in line with brand essence.
  • Assist in managing, regulating, and scheduling Marketing’s communications including merchandising and sampling calendars.
  • Support the execution of brand initiatives in line with brand guidelines.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing competitor activities to recommend responsive strategies.
  • Assist in identifying retail trade area-specific issues and executing local store marketing programs to address them.
  • Support in preparing post-promo evaluation reports and proposing actionable steps.

Channel Marketing Assistance:

  • Collaborate on developing and implementing marketing strategies across different channels (e.g. delivery, online, institutional) while ensuring consistent brand application.
  • Contribute to conceptualizing and recommending sales-building strategies across business channels.
  • Assist in ensuring seamless alignment and implementation of marketing activities across all channels.
  • Support in maintaining proper and consistent use of branding and trademarks across channels.
  • Act as proactive contributor to the company’s competitive intelligence efforts and continuously seek ways to enhance the brand’s competitive positioning in the market, staying on top and being the eyes and ears regarding brand competitors.

Store Opening Support:

  • Conceptualize and execute store opening activities and promotions.
  • Develop and lead store opening event programs.
  • Contribute actively to the company's competitive intelligence efforts, always seeking ways to bolster the brand's market position. Stay vigilant and informed about store openings, retail trade areas, and influential activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Others

  • Collaborate and initiate business meetings with stakeholders, internal support functions, and external clients to achieve desired results related to the department’s projects.
  • Manage allocated budget for project/s and/or assigned brand/units/department.
  • Manage significant timelines and deliverables as agreed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Management, Communication Arts, or any equivalent related course.

Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, and/or Local Marketing within retail or a related industry, preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
