Wanted: Executive/Head Bartender

New Asian-American inspired cocktail bar and restaurant in Williamsburg seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Bartender to join our opening team. This is an opportunity to come into a bar at the ground floor to decide the direction of the bar and have creative freedom on the drink program.

Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of spirits and cocktails, both contemporary and classic
- 2+ years of experience tending bar in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience on an opening team is a plus
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Reliability is a must

Responsibilities:
- Develop drink program to go well with Exec Chef’s food program
- Develop house cocktails, utilizing special ingredients to fit the theme of the bar
- Serve as the face of the business to ensure a stellar guest experience.
- Lead bar team, including training to ensure house procedures are followed
- Develop and execute ideas for new promotions
- Oversee inventory and re-ordering
- Responsible for maintaining bar according to DOH standards
- Create and maintain an in-house bar book document

Compensation:
This is a competitively compensated FULL-TIME position (+ tip on shifts worked)
