The José Andrés Group has partnered with The Ritz Carlton South Beach to bring the award-winning restaurant concepts to Miami, Florida. We are looking for the area's most talented hospitality professionals to help us as we continue our mission to Change the World Through the Power of Food!
We are currently searching for talented pastry cooks to join our team as part of our Zaytinya restaurant and banquets department.
What we would like from you:
A high level of self-management, accountability, and integrity.
Produce muffins, biscuits, scones, etc. according to standardized recipes.
Place orders for products/ingredients needed.
Plan production schedules to ensure restaurant, banquet/event, and in-room dining needs are covered.
Ensure the kitchen and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards.

Skills & Conditions:
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending,
Confidently communicate with guests and employees.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Willing to work overnights, holidays, and weekends.
