  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Manage the reservation system, ensuring accurate guest seating and timely seating of parties.
  • Direct guests to their tables, provide menus, and inform them of any specials or events.
  • Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and make reservations or provide information as needed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean host stand, ensuring all menus, specials, and promotional materials are up to date.
  • Monitor the dining room to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of guests and assist in managing waiting times during peak hours.
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and accurate guest seating preferences.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns, offering solutions, or directing issues to management.
  • Assist in keeping the restaurant atmosphere clean and orderly, including clearing unused menus, highchairs, or waiting areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service during busy periods and special events.
