In-House Paralegal

Job Title: In-House Paralegal
Reporting To: Managing Director / Senior Leadership Team
Location: K Beverage Head Office
Business: K Beverage Ltd – Starbucks Franchise Partner

Role Purpose

To provide practical and commercially focused legal and administrative support to K Beverage across its Starbucks franchise operations, helping to manage legal risk, maintain compliance, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business with day-to-day legal matters across stores and Head Office.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, and commercial documents.
  • Assist with employment-related documentation in partnership with HR.
  • Support property matters including leases, licences, and new store opening documentation.
  • Maintain legal records, contract registers, and key renewal dates.
  • Liaise with external solicitors, landlords, and professional advisors where required.
  • Support compliance with company policies, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with insurance claims, disputes, and risk management matters.
  • Provide clear and practical guidance to managers on legal processes.
  • Support ad-hoc projects linked to expansion and business development.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and legal administration.
  • Employment law or property experience desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a practical business approach.
