Sales Manager – Hotels & Accommodation Partnerships (Part-Time)

Kents Cavern / Bodmin Jail

Help Put One of the South West’s Most Unique Attractions on Every Visitor’s Must-Do List

We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially driven Sales Manager to build powerful partnerships with hotels, accommodation providers and tourism businesses across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves relationship-building, networking and creating opportunities that genuinely drive visitor growth.

You will play a key role in ensuring Kents Cavern and Bodmin Jail become top recommendations for overnight visitors, staycation guests and holidaymakers across Devon and Cornwall.

This role is all about visibility, partnerships, influence and results.

If you are someone who thrives on making connections, spotting commercial opportunities and driving measurable growth, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Opportunity

Imagine walking into hotels, holiday parks and guesthouses across the South West knowing you are helping shape where thousands of visitors choose to go during their stay.

Your mission will be simple:

  • Build relationships that drive bookings
  • Create exciting collaborations and joint offers
  • Make our attractions impossible to ignore
  • Increase visitor numbers and revenue through partnership activity

This is not a desk-based role waiting for opportunities to appear.

We want someone proactive, visible, creative and commercially focused — someone who will actively grow our network and put our attractions front and centre within the tourism industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build Powerful Partnerships

  • Develop strong relationships with hotels, guesthouses, Airbnbs and accommodation providers.
  • Ensure concierge teams and front-of-house staff actively recommend our attractions to guests.
  • Become a trusted and visible partner across the tourism and hospitality sector.

Drive Visitor Growth

  • Increase visitor numbers through strategic partnerships and referral activity.
  • Develop exciting joint offers, packages and collaborative campaigns.
  • Identify new opportunities to maximise overnight visitor spend and attraction attendance.

Grow Our Tourism Presence

  • Represent the attractions confidently within local tourism networks.
  • Attend networking events, tourism meetings and partnership opportunities.
  • Build long-term collaborations that deliver measurable commercial impact.

Deliver Commercial Results

  • Track performance, measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns and messaging.
  • Ensure all partnerships are commercially effective and generating return.

Be Out in the Market

This role is about being present, visible and connected.

You’ll regularly visit partners, maintain relationships and ensure our attractions remain top-of-mind across the local visitor economy.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who is:

  • A natural relationship builder
  • Commercially aware and results-driven
  • Confident, energetic and proactive
  • Passionate about tourism, hospitality and visitor experiences
  • Skilled at spotting opportunities and turning them into action
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple partnerships
  • Comfortable working independently and making things happen

Experience within tourism, hospitality, travel or visitor attractions would be highly desirable — but attitude, energy and commercial instinct are just as important.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Hotels and accommodation providers actively recommending our attractions every day
  • Strong tourism partnerships generating measurable visitor growth
  • Increased bookings and revenue through collaboration activity
  • Exciting campaigns and offers driving visibility and engagement
  • A thriving network of local tourism advocates and partners
  • Clear commercial impact and strong leadership confidence in delivery

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to work with two of the South West’s most iconic attractions and directly influence visitor growth across the region.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Build valuable industry relationships
  • Drive real commercial growth
  • Shape exciting tourism collaborations
  • Be part of ambitious and growing attraction businesses
  • Make a visible and measurable impact

If you’re motivated by people, partnerships, tourism and growth — and want a role where your energy and ideas can genuinely make a difference — we’d love to hear from you.
