Description

We’re looking for an adaptable, proactive team player who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in across reception, the bar, and the kitchen. You’ll help create a great guest experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment, bringing the Moxy brand to life with a fun, relaxed atmosphere where guests (and their dogs!) feel right at home.

This role would suit someone with hospitality experience who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in delivering great service. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, attentive, and happy supporting different areas of the hotel as needed—from check-in to food prep to serving behind the bar.


Main Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of reception, bar, and kitchen areas
  • Welcome guests, check them in/out, and handle general enquiries
  • Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and build great guest relationships
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks in line with brand standards
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and well stocked
  • Handle payments and use booking and till systems accurately
  • Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel
  • Follow food safety, licensing, and health & safety guidelines at all times
  • Be flexible and support the wider team wherever needed

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working across different areas (front desk, bar, kitchen)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay organised and work well in a busy environment
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering a great guest experience
  • Experience with systems like Opera or Micros is a plus, but not essential
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
