Bringing it to the role.

To reach our ambition of being the nation’s favourite fried chicken brand, we know we have to invest in the experience of our people, ensuring we have heart-led and high performing teams who are fuelled by talent and drive our culture; the People Experience team are therefore critical to the success of this. The role is pivotal in being responsible for designing and implementing initiatives to attract and retain high-performing and engaged talent, ultimately supporting the growth of our people across KFC UKI. This role will require being in our RSC in Woking 2 days a week.


What you’ll do

In this role you will:

  • Build strong relationships with employees across the RSC & Restaurants, both Equity & Franchisees, as well as global stakeholders
  • Serve as a key thought partner to define the leadership and development priorities across the KFC UKI estate
  • Develop, design and deliver effective training solutions and strategies to build and enhance leadership and coach effectiveness based on current, emerging, and future business needs
  • Provide leadership and partner with P&C BPS (as well as other stakeholders) to identify competency gaps impacting their ability to deliver business results, understand what competencies will be needed in their ‘future state,’
  • Build and create robust methods for tracking, reporting, evaluating and analysing performance of the L&D offering and effectiveness of the programmes it delivers
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making to build and measure program effectiveness
  • Lead the design, ownership and management of KFC UKI’s Leadership Development Curriculum
  • Partner with business leaders to successfully roll out local and global development initiatives such as Inclusive Leadership & Virtual Inclusive Leadership
  • Develop and deliver Heartstyles strategy in partnership with key stakeholders across the business, maintaining a full calendar of delivery & workshops throughout the year
  • Train as an Accredited Associate and work with P&C BPs & HR Leads to identify Certified Practitioner population
  • Lead and design development and upskilling for Certified Practitioner population
  • Partner internally and externally with deliver partners to organise and coordinate The Female Advantage, working closely with the Wolfpack Community of Belonging
  • Partner with NSU on design, delivery and execution of AC Elevate, alongside PC&BPs and People Capability Leader
  • Procure partnerships with external agencies to deliver learning and/or engagement initiatives
  • Effectively and proactively manage a Learning & Development budget
  • Organise and lead KFC’s listening strategy across one system, in partnership with our global teams, and in partnership with P&C BPs.
  • Participate in additional projects for the broader People & Culture team to meet business needs.

  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously to gain insights and fuel design
  • Creative, flexible and innovative team player
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal/teamwork skills with an ability to build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues and various stakeholders
