Front of House Team Leader

Description

We are a bold, award-winning business who pride ourselves in empowering our teams with the autonomy to operate premium, fun businesses that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment.  We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants and hotels with high standards and take a different approach to others; always striving to be the best we can be.

We are looking for a front of house supervisor to join the family. This role encompasses delivering amazing bar and waiting hospitality to our customers and supporting our management team in leading a shift.

The King’s Arms is a newly refurbished 18th-century pub and inn in the heart of Melksham.

With 13 comfy and modern ensuite rooms and a warm welcome, we offer the ideal base for exploring Melksham, nearby historic Corsham, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, and the stunning Wiltshire countryside.

On the menu, our focus is locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and pub classics, plus a cracking selection of Butcombe beer and a cocktail menu behind the bar.

Relax in our cobbled beer garden, with parasols and heated areas in the winter – the perfect al fresco spot for a refreshing pint or a bite to eat.

We’re dog-friendly, family-friendly, and happy to cater for both large and small groups. We have two private dining rooms, ideal for weddings, meetings and parties.

What’s in it for you?

  • The chance to work for an award-winning business.  We have won the Best Food offer (2019 & 2020) and Best Managed Pub Company (2021) at The UK Publican Awards.
  • Access to Liberation Life - an incredible platform where you can earn cash-back with major retailers, save money on your purchases including holidays, groceries, gifts and much more!
  • The opportunity to work for a diverse, eclectic company and gain experience in a range of businesses and food offers.  We take a collaborative approach to business development, giving you independence to drive your pub to success and implement your own ideas – the bigger the better!
  • A competitive hourly rate plus an equal share of great tips.  Accommodation may also be available.
  • Access to industry leading training and development.  We offer bespoke training plans as part of our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme.
  • We offer additional support and coaching from our operations team and talented managers.
  • You will work with some of the best locally sourced food and drink produce, including our own, award-winning beer!
  • We will back with you the tools you need to do a great job and have invested significantly in our properties.
  • The buzz that comes with team parties, events, training courses, great suppliers and some of the industry’s best team rewards, discounts and benefits (including 75% off food on shift).
  • A business who cares about you.  We are ambassadors for the Burnt Chef Project fighting the stigma of mental health and working with them to train and support our teams.   We also offer an Employee Assistance Program that is there 24/7 to provide you with support.
