General Manager, Live Out
We are currently looking for a new General Manager to join our team of brilliant, like-minded managers.
An amazing and exciting opportunity has become available at the beautiful The King’s Arms in Woodstock.
Located at the heart of the idyllic market town of Woodstock, 8 miles North-West of Oxford and a stone’s throw away from Blenheim Palace, The King’s Arms is one of the finest places to stay in Oxfordshire. The King’s Arms is currently in the Distinctive food concept and offers contemporary craft beers, cask ales, as well as showcasing 15 beautiful bedrooms.
The next General Manager of The King’s Arms will be exceptionally organised, commercially aware and have had exposure to a premium business. The ability to build and manage relationships with both the local and wider community is crucial.
There is real opportunity here to put your stamp on an exciting business to ensure a successful future. This is a live out position and an exciting opportunity for an existing and or experienced General Manager, who is seeking a challenge in a beautiful bedroom business.
What can we offer you?
Could you write the next chapter of our story?
As our General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of the pub.
Ultimately, the smiles on faces, the return visits and the positive reviews are all down to you - making this one of the most rewarding jobs in the hospitality business.
For any General Manager, Fuller’s is a special company to work for. You’ll get lots of help and support from our Support Office when you need it, but also plenty of encouragement to put your own spin on the pub.
You can take plenty of pride in the role too, knowing that Fuller’s ales, food and service has a reputation as some of the very best in the business.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, making the right decisions to keep customers pouring through the doors. Importantly though, you’ll be a people-person too - mindful that to many, you’re still a good old-fashioned ‘Landlord’.
And of course, you’ll have a team to look after. So, we’re looking for somebody with true leadership qualities – able to keep both the customers and the team smiling.
