Ready to roll up your sleeves, make your mark and be part of something brilliant? We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our energetic Kitchen team at Surya Hotels. We’re stepping into a new era of hospitality, one where Ownership and Personality is more than a phrase, it’s how we do things. Right on the prom, resplendent in powder blue, the Kingscliff, with her 30 rooms, restaurant and relaxing garden, is just the spot for our locals and travellers who come for simple seaside pleasures.
To be a successful Kitchen Porter, an important part of our kitchen team, you will need
- A positive can-do attitude – keeping kitchen equipment, tools, crockery and cutlery spotless and service ready
- Pride in your work – confident in playing a crucial role in kitchen operations
- A willingness to learn – from food prep to new techniques and service styles
- A true team spirit – pulling together during those fast-paced peak periods

- Deliver great service to kitchen and F&B colleagues – working swiftly and efficiently
- Meet site standards and work collaboratively to keep the kitchen operation smoothly
