Description
We are looking team players with a positive attitude, to join our brigade as a Kitchen porter at The Hero.
- Salary - £12.21 per hour + Tips (Earn an additional £3- £6 per hour in tips)
The Hero is a stunning four-storey pub in the heart of Maida Vale offering a different experience on each floor. If you're passionate about hospitality and seeking an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing as a Kitchen porter at The Hero:
- Supporting the kitchen team with general duties as needed to ensure efficient service
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required
- Ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and always organised.
- Handling waste and recycling, ensuring proper disposal in line with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with stock rotation and maintaining inventory levels
- Always adhering to health and safety standards and cleanliness protocols.
About you, our new Kitchen porter at The Hero:
- Advantageous if you have previous experience, but not essential, We are looking for just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a team player mentality
- A passion for working in the food and hospitality industry
- Flexibility with working hours (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays) Available to work evenings from 5pm till late.
