We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade at The Pelican in Nottinghill!

The Pelican, is a welcoming and vibrant pub offering exceptional dining and drinking experience with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We take pride in serving high quality food and beverages, while delivering outstanding customer service. 

  • Salary - £14 - £15.50 per hour + Tips (Earn an extra £4 - £6 per hour in tips)

What you'll be doing as a Junior Sous chef at The Pelican: 

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in running a smooth and efficient kitchen
  • Help lead and mentor junior team members
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials
  • Be hands-on during busy service periods

About you, our new Junior Sous Chef at The Pelican:

  • A passion for creating delicious, seasonal dishes.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality kitchen
  • Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skill
  • Passion for seasonal British produce and sustainability
  • A calm, positive attitude and a genuine team spirit
