We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team at The Relais Cooden Beach working alongside our talented and inspirational Head Chef.

You will have previous experience of working within a kitchen at Senior CDP or Sous Chef level, being excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset with casual, fine dining and events.

Benefits:

Key responsibilities:

  • To work well in a team of chefs providing exceptional cuisine to guests
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

You will have the following skills:

  • Must have a passion and love for food.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent management and organisational skills.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strives to exceed targets and goals.
  • Able to cover Head Chef on days off and holidays.
