As a Demis Chef de Partie, you will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and delivering their section and meals within the Hotel and restaurant; you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day preparation and participating with other sections.

You will be responsible for maintaining food quality and estimating food consumption, providing a daily order for the section you are working into to the management team, and maintaining stock inventory.

You will ensure the maintenance of our highest standards, and food recipes, timings, and tastes are according to our exacting standards.

 We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and talent.

 You will work with brilliant talent across the Hotel so that we are one team delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Chef
  • A passion for food and the culinary arts that is knowledgeable and effusive
  • Fluent English is spoken and written
  • Kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
  • Completed National Certificate in Hospitality in Professional Cookery qualification
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and carry crates supporting the kitchen staff with the setup of the kitchen and deliveries 
  • Ability to stand for several hours
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holiday
