Job Overview:
The Queens Hotel is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who takes pride in working with fresh, high-quality ingredients and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Prepare and cook dishes using only fresh produce, maintaining the highest culinary standards
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu execution and daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards at all times
  • Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising waste
  • Train and support junior members of the team where required
  • Work collaboratively within a brigade of 10 chefs and kitchen porters

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Passion for fresh ingredients and quality cooking
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
