We are currently recruiting for a Head Bartender to join the May Fair Kitchen at The 5 Star May Fair Hotel, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

Overview:

  • An Amazing opportunity to join the May Fair Kitchen at The May Fair Hotel as a Head Bar Tender.
  • You will have good knowledge of our drinks menu and be able to serve a variety of wines, spirits and cocktails. 
  • You will be able to answer questions about the menu and make recommendatons where appropriate.
  • You will ensure that all of the drinks served by yourself and the bar team are to specification and presented to a high standard as per our brand standards. 
  • You will direct the bar operations team to ensure both customer and staff satisfaction is achieved in a motivated and cohesive environment.
  • You will ensure that the bar pre opening checklist is complete before every service commences and will ensure that par stocks are maintained in the bar.
  • You will ensure that any discrepancies such as spillages and breakages are reported to ensure that he month end stock take is correct.
  • You will ensure that the bar team are processing all orders through Micros and that the correct payment is taken for all orders. 
  • You will co-ordinate bar closing procedures and ensure that cashing up is done correctly.
  • You will ensure that guest expectations are exceeded and will seek opportunities to improve guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels. 

 About You:

  • Current in-depth beverage knowledge, including, cocktails, fine wines and champagnes.
  • Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership skills including delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
  • Understands the benefit of teamwork and works collaboratively with others.
