We are looking for a Spa therapist to join our friendly Spa team, reporting to an extremely supportive and experienced Spa Manager.

Putting mind, Body and spirit in balance underpins the Thyme ethos; Our meadow spa is an all-natural spa retreat. Our treatments are tailored individually for mind and body, harnessing unique probiotic ingredients to protect, restore and balance the skin from within. Our botanical spa is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquillity.

Rooted in a love of nature and a belief in the beauty of simplicity, our everyday Bertioli Beauty bathing and breathing products are used to deliver treatments harnessing the healing power of breath and scent to nourish the mind and body.

Inside our new Breathing Bothy, we provide treatments focused on slow, conscious breathing, designed to instil a restorative clam using Thyme’s signature Bertioli beauty range.

We are the only spa in the world to work with award-winning, British brand, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare who have won over 100 awards in just five years. Thyme & Aurelia share a philosophy and a commitment to the scientific use of entirely natural products.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver a range of high standard spa treatments
  • Carefully manage guest expectations to always deliver a 5-star experience
  • Maximise treatment and retail sales - ensuring all agreed targets are achieved
  • Actively maintain good knowledge of services and products
  • Maintain high levels of standards throughout the spa
  • Carry out other duties when required, assisting colleagues and other departments
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the spa industry is preferred
  • Experience within a similar 5-star environment is preferred
  • Spa therapy qualification is required (NVQ, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC or equivalent)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Efficient, organised and motivated
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and willingness to learn
  • The ability to deliver an exceptional spa experience, going beyond the guest’s expectations
  • A passion for holistic therapies and wellbeing
