What you’ll do

As a Development Baker, you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • By providing exceptional food & service
  • Ensuring the preparation & cooking of  high quality food standards within the  kitchen & exceed hotel standards & guest requirements
  • Enhancing food & create a seamless brand experience for guests

The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Development Baker , but we'll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel. The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change.  


What you'll bring 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Good knowledge of 5 star kitchen processes and operations
  • Strong understanding & application of bread products, vienoisserie, fermented doughs
  • Understanding of hospitality Industry & legislation e.g. Health & Safety, licensing; employment law
  • Menus development, installation and training process
  • Ordering systems, costing process and understanding yield process
  • Equipment cleaning, respect for high cost pieces and maintenance

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Basic computer skills to include word, excel and email
  • Good communications skills
