Full-time, Hybrid Remote/Office-based work schedule with two days per week working remotely. Onsite training is required.

Responsibilities – What you will be doing
Perform daily bank account reconciliations
Research and resolve exceptions or variances in daily sales and bank activity
Assist with all day-to-day operations for AP/AR
Correspond with vendors to resolve account issues
Prepare and enter recurring and non-recurring journal entries
Process, analyze and balance weekly payroll runs
Prepare monthly sales tax returns
Assist with period end close procedures for the company
Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
Maintain accurate fixed asset records, depreciation schedules and property tax filings
Assist with year-end tax & audit support
Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Communicate regularly with operators to obtain missing information, resolve questions, and provide general support for client inquiries
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP
Restaurant/hospitality industry experience, ideally in a role with P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility
Prior experience using a financial accounting system (QuickBooks, Intacct, Xero, Compeat)
Advanced Microsoft Suite skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable collaborating using Zoom, Teams, and/or Google Meet
Self-motivated with ability to meet multiple competing deadlines
Curious, friendly, hardworking, and hospitality-driven
Team player willing to take on wide array of tasks
Exceptional math skills
Absolute commitment to integrity and protecting confidentiality
