Description

A Stage Unlike Any Other

In 1863, a group of artists, writers, and free thinkers gathered with a shared conviction: that the finest conversation, the boldest ideas, and the warmest hospitality belonged together under one roof. Charles Dickens dined here. Whistler argued here. Rodin was inspired here.

The Arts Club was born not as a venue, but as a living expression of creative life — and it has never stopped.

At the heart of that life today are the people and spaces that bring our club to life every day. This is more than an operation — it is an environment where members connect, create, and return time and time again because something about it feels truly special.

It takes an exceptional person to be part of that.

That person might be you.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the restaurants management team in leading the day-to-day operations of Kyubi.

Kyubi is a Japanese restaurant that provides outstanding and unique service to our members with a passionate and dedicated team that is encouraged to build relationships with our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high operating standards in line with Club values and consistently exceed member and guest expectations.
  • Maximise profitability by understanding member needs and supporting business targets.
  • Drive new ideas, identify potential challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and Club standards.
  • Plan ahead to continuously improve restaurant operations and support your own professional development.
  • Oversee team training, performance and development to maintain consistently high standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, staffing levels and expenditure to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Build strong member relationships, acting on feedback and continuously improving the member and guest experience.

About You:
  • We are looking for an outgoing individual with great personality and charisma, passionate about managing and delivering a first class service within an upscale operation.
  • A confident individual with excellent people management skills.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
  • Experience in Japanese cuisine is essential.

If you're an ambitious hospitality professional looking to take the next step in your career within a premium dining environment, we'd love to hear from you.

In return, we offer an excellent range of rewards and benefits, including:
