Summary Description:
A stock supervisor plays a critical role in the store’s operational excellence. The stock supervisor is in charge of organizing the stock room and monitoring inventory levels to maximize the store performance. This individual is responsible for receiving and storing deliveries and ensuring all products are appropriately stowed and accessible.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with creating a world class shopping experience that exists through the effective organization of the back-of-house areas and merchandise flow onto the sales floor.
• Ensure the timely processing of all shipments, transfers, damages, mismates, supplies, and the overall organization of stock areas.
• Communicate any merchandising, planning request and supply needs to management.
• Have the ability to manage stock effectively in a safe and secure manner
• Adjust any inventory discrepancies by conducting audits and cycle counts.
• Understand LACOSTE’s back office operations and procedures.
• Partner with the store management team on Loss Prevention awareness within the store.
• Support and reinforce positive employee relations through leading and developing a quality store team, and communicate and partner with the Store/Assistant Manager on coaching and conflict resolution.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
• Hold store keys and regularly participates in store opening and closing functions.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years experience in retail with a proven track record of excellent operational skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
• Solid independent work ethic, exceptional time management skills, and high level of ownership.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
• Willing to adhere to all company policies, produres, regulations, and standards.
