The Role...
We are searching for a linen porter to maintain excellent housekeeping standards in the laundry department, to ensure guest satisfaction.
As a Linen Porter, you are responsible for the counting and distribution of linen, accurately stripping beds, disposing of rubbish and recycling and supporting the day to day running of the hotel, ensuring the housekeeping teams are well equipped for the day. Other duties include the cleaning of public areas and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent guest experience. As the linen porter you are confident and enjoy supporting the team to ensure guests 5 star expectations are met.
To be successful as a Linen Porter, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Physically, you will be required to work on your feet for most of the day and will be able to lift, transport and carry heavy linen loads in line with health and safety guidelines.
Salary and Contract
This is a zero-hour contract, available to start immediately. The role requires flexibility as the hours that are available will include working weekends and additional hours during our busiest times as well as supporting the Laundry department when needed to cover sickness/holiday.
