Job Summary:
The role of a Host/Hostess is to create a warm and welcoming first impression for all guests entering the restaurant. Job duties include but are not limited to: greeting guests, assigning tables based on guest preference and availability, accommodating both reservations and walk-ins, communicating guest information to all other front of house employees, answering phones and taking reservations.



Responsibilities:
Greeting and thanking all customers
Planning and organizing dining room seating for the evening
Answering the phones and providing information about the restaurant
Clearly and concisely communicating to both guests and employees
Provide high-level customer service and hospitality to clients: including in-person, over the phone, and through email.


Desired Experience:
Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
Prior vibe-dining/fast paced dining experience 1 year preferred
Knowledge of OpenTable Guest center
Willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
Excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities
Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
Positive, can-do attitude
Friendly and professional phone and email etiquette
Superior organizational skills
Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday and some early morning/late evening weekday availability
