General Manager – Lead, Grow & Thrive with L’ETO

Salary: Up to £48,000 per year including bonus
Hours: 45 hours per week

At L’ETO, meaning “summer”, we create vibrant spaces where guests love to gather and teams thrive. With new restaurants opening this year, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead an existing branch or launch a brand new site.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building high performing teams.

The role

As General Manager, you will take full ownership of your restaurant, leading the team, driving commercial performance and delivering an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

Guest experience
Lead service from the floor and ensure management presence during service. Maintain a clean, welcoming and well presented site and deliver strong guest satisfaction scores and reviews.

People
Recruit, train and develop teams. Support inductions, probation reviews and team development. Hold regular performance conversations and support recruitment, retention and succession planning.

Learning and development
Coach and mentor your team. Identify future leaders and support internal promotion and career development.

Profit and loss
Deliver commercial targets including GP, labour and EBITDA. Manage stock control, wastage and labour forecasting. Analyse performance to maximise profitability and minimise loss.

Property
Ensure the site is well maintained, clean and in good working order. Address maintenance issues promptly and manage site costs responsibly.

What we are looking for

At least 2 years’ experience in a hospitality leadership role. A hands-on manager who thrives in busy restaurant environments. Strong leadership, organisation and commercial awareness. A passion for delivering excellent guest experiences and developing teams.
