Are you a hands-on baker or pastry chef waiting for your opportunity to really flex your creativity and skills set?
Our Pastry Chefs are tasked with ensuring our products are supplied to our stores and direct to our customers at the highest quality – We’re famous for our cake quality here!
Here’s a brief overview of what you’ll get up to:
• Following recipes to create pastries, cookies and other baked goods.
• Preparing a wide variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and sweet goods.
• Responsible for producing high volumes of products.
• Decorating cakes professionally and creatively.
• Ensuring Quality standards and support to develop new design of cakes for our website.
• Taking onboard instructions from our bakery leadership team, providing recommendations on cake decorations, sizes and packaging.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organise the kitchen according to food safety regulations.
Essential Experience:
• At least 2-years experience working in a Pastry Kitchen or Bakery as a baker or pastry chef
• You’ve worked in a high volume food production environment
• You have worked with luxury food products
It would be even better (but not essential) if:
• You have up to date Food Hygiene certification
