Job Opportunity
Position:  Baker – L’ETO Pastry Kitchen

Location: Battersea, London (Production Pastry Kitchen supporting L’ETO cafés & outlets)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 45

About L’ETO
L’ETO is a renowned London-born café and all-day dining destination, celebrated for its exquisite cakes, pastries, desserts and welcoming café experience across multiple locations in the UK and internationally. With beautiful displays of signature cakes like honey cake, milk cake and other hand-crafted delights, we take pride in quality, creativity, and consistency in everything we produce.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Baker to join our pastry kitchen team — someone passionate about baking, skilled in producing high-quality breads and desserts at scale, and committed to maintaining the standards that our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, European-style desserts and sweet baked goods in volume, with a key focus on baked goods.
  • Follow standardised L’ETO recipes with precision — delivering consistent flavour, texture and presentation.
  • Operate production-scale bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to plan and execute daily production schedules.
  • Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and allergen control standards.
  • Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, batching and accurate stock rotation.
  • Keep a clean, organised and efficient production workspace.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a busy bakery, production kitchen, café or patisserie environment.
  • Strong foundational baking skills — working with doughs, seasoning, fillings and decorative techniques.
  • Ability to work quickly, consistently, and with close attention to quality.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and reliability under pressure.
  • Comfortable with early starts and variable production schedules.

Why Work With Us?

  • Be part of a beloved London brand with a global reach.
  • Competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
  • Staff benefits including generous food & drink discounts, training support, and complimentary, 24/7/365 access to our employee assistance programme - Health Assured.
  • Work in a creative, supportive and fast-paced environment where quality and teamwork are valued.
