The Opportunity:
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at L’ETO.
This role is designed for someone who wants to develop into a General Manager and take full ownership of a high performing hospitality business.
At L’ETO we believe in developing leaders internally. Many of our senior managers began their journey on the floor and grew into their roles through commitment, discipline and strong operational performance.
This is not a passive management role.
Our Assistant Managers are present on the floor, leading teams, managing service flow and maintaining exceptional guest experience standards.
You will work closely with senior leadership to build the skills required to eventually run your own branch and team.

Brand Description
L’ETO is known for its iconic cake displays, vibrant atmosphere and high-energy service culture.
Our restaurants operate at high volume, serving guests throughout the day from breakfast and brunch through lunch and dinner.
Guests experience:
• A visually striking cake display
• A fast-paced service environment
• Full table service hospitality
• Freshly prepared food and desserts
Our floor is a stage, and our teams perform with energy, precision and professionalism.

Now let’s talk about your role…
As an Assistant Manager you will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering:
• Smooth day-to-day operations
• Strong financial performance
• Consistent service standards
• Clear leadership to the front-of-house team

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing large teams while maintaining attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading service on the floor during busy periods
• Supporting the development and supervision of the FOH team
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality
• Monitoring service flow and solving operational challenges in real time
• Supporting labour control and team scheduling
• Assisting with stock management and operational organisation
• Ensuring health & safety and food safety standards are maintained
• Supporting training and team development
• Contributing to the commercial performance of the branch

At L’ETO, our managers lead from the front.
You may move from hosting guests, to managing the team, to resolving operational challenges, all within the same service.

Essential Experience:
We are looking for someone who is:
• Energetic and confident leading teams
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume restaurant
• Hands-on and present during service
• Professional, organised and detail-focused
• Passionate about hospitality and guest experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience working in a busy restaurant or café environment
• Ability to manage service and support teams under pressure

This Role Is For You If…
You enjoy:
• Fast-paced service environments
• Leading teams from the floor
• Creating memorable guest experiences
