About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director – FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight and supporting leadership across our drinks operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality, processes, and reporting of business data, serving as a trusted business partner to the MDs and Heads of Division.

While the role does not involve direct reports, it offers significant visibility across the business. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both detailed analysis and contributing to broader strategic goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing the weekly reporting pack for the Drinks Division
  • Supporting Directors across the Brewing & Distribution division (UK, Jersey & Guernsey) with commercial insight
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensuring robust processes are in place to meet the Board’s MI requirements
  • Overseeing Power BI reporting and dashboard development
  • Partnering with operational leaders on value-driving initiatives
  • Leading annual and ad hoc pricing reviews
  • Continuously improving systems, data quality, and processes
  • Collaborating closely with the Financial Accounting & Reporting Team at period end
  • Providing direct support to the Finance Director – FP&A

What You’ll Bring:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Industry experience (preferred)
  • Proven ability to add commercial value and contribute innovative ideas
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI (preferable)
  • Excellent communication skills — both oral and written, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, hardworking, ambitious, with a continuous drive for growth and improvement
  • NAV/365 Business Central Accounting System experience (helpful)
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced business environment, where priorities may change at short notice
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high level of ownership and accountability for your output

What You'll Get:

  • A salary of up to £70k per annum for 37.5 hours per week
  • 25% performance based discretionary bonus
  • 25 days holiday, plus 8 Bank Holidays per year with options to buy additional days holiday throughout the year, and a day off for your birthday after one year’s service
  • 30% discount on food, drink and rooms at any Butcombe Pub
  • 20% off retail purchases in our online shops for beer and merch
  • Savings and discounts from thousands of online retailers, and so much more, with the Benefits Bar
  • Cycle to Work
  • 24/7 Mental, Financial and Physical Health support
  • Opportunities for growth, development and promotion
