We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our AP team, primarily focusing on Jersey accounts. We offer superb training and learning and development and this is a chance to join an award-winning business and be a part of our journey.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking and processing supplier invoices onto the accounting system (Microsoft Nav)
  • Coding of invoices to ensure that they are booked correctly, and any discrepancies are reported
  • Ensure all queries regarding invoicing are investigated and resolved to avoid late payment
  • Managing supplier accounts, including monthly statement reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Assisting in monthly reconciliations and month end close of Accounts Payable Ledger 
  • Generating payments and supporting payment runs as required
  • Helping to cleanse supplier database by confirming or updating accuracy of details contained
  • Administration tasks as required by your manager

Skills, experience, and qualifications:    

  • The ability to manage complex, diverse and time-pressured workload
  • Highly organised, collaborative team player with the ability to multitask and work on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Swift work ethic with high accuracy
  • Computer literate with IT skills to include Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with any accounts payable systems is desirable but not essential.
