We are Gravity, we are the UK’s biggest name in active entertainment. Fun is our key word, where our sites across the UK offer up to 30 activities from e-karting to trampoline parks, high wall climbing to augmented reality bowling. We are now at the exciting stage of opening our new location at Liverpool 1, and we are currently looking for a part time Karting Mechanic to join our fun team.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking to recruit a part time electric go kart mechanic / engineer to work at our venue at Liverpool 1. Alongside our fully trained team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our amazing fleet of electric karts, ensuring they are safe, clean and ready for the Gravity racetracks! The role is part time, working 16 hours per week. We will need flexibility as we operate 7 days a week from morning to late evenings, so ability to work around these hours is important.

You will be responsible for

  • Maintenance & servicing the karts and dealing with the daily wear and tear that will affect their performance on the track on a weekly basis.
  • Compliance with company guidelines
  • Accurate and timely administration of kart documents
  • Ensuring that the maximum kart capacity is available at any given time

About You

Qualifications in the industry are not essential, but we are ideally looking for people with the following:

  • A minimum of 6 months mechanic or electrical experience
  • A minimum of 6 months experience within the industry
  • Flexible as shifts are between Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility is vital for this role
  • Common sense and the ability to use your own initiative are essential
  • Ability to be adaptable and proactive
  • Positive and proactive attitude putting customers first
  • Keen passion for motorsport & leisure
