The role:
At our hotel, we’re looking for a team who are passionate about Cornwall and our local food and drink producers, and are eager to be a part of this county's incredible way of life. As a member of our team, you'll work alongside others who prioritise our guests and support each other.

We're looking for a food and beverage runner to support the bar and waiting team in delivering guest food and drinks to tables and ensuring all guests have an enjoyable experience. 

This is a temporary position until the end of September 2025 and shift times will vary between the hours of 12pm - 10pm. 

What you'll do: 

• Serve guests in a warm, friendly, timely and relaxed yet professional manner. 
• Ensure all bills are closed correctly. 
• Run all food and drinks orders accurately. 
• Polish and put away cutlery, crockery and glasses. 
• Help keep the restaurant clean and tidy. 
• Assist the bar and waiting team where necessary. 

Job skills & requirements:

• A basic knowledge of food and drinks 
• A team player, with bags of enthusiasm and personality
• A desire to provide an excellent guest experience
• A genuine intent to use the latest technology for a smooth ordering and billing process, without compromising guest experience
• The ability to work smart, and understand that self-belief and hard work will always earn you success
