About the Role:

As a Head Host, you will oversee a team managing inbound reservations and guest enquiries for Blackhouse. This is a restaurant-focused role where delivering outstanding guest service and maximising bookings are at the heart of everything you do.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and motivate the Reservations team to deliver exceptional service for all restaurant reservations and enquiries.

- Oversee inbound calls, emails, and online bookings, ensuring responses are prompt, accurate, and guest-focused.

- Implement strategies to increase table bookings, encourage upselling, and drive sales for special events or promotions.

- Foster a culture of hospitality excellence, ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for.

- Provide training, support, and regular performance feedback to your team.

- Monitor team performance, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.

- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to align booking strategies with the venue’s needs and business objectives.


What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in a guest-focused, sales-driven leadership role, ideally within hospitality or restaurant reservations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong sales and organisational abilities with a results-driven mindset.

- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

- Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems (such as Collins or similar) is highly desirable.

- Social media profficency and a passion for capturing Blackhouse's vibe and energy!

- It goes without saying that being a team player is paramount.
