The RoleYou’ll keep our guest rooms and public areas pristine, comfortable and well-presented. Working to daily checklists and brand standards, you’ll turn rooms efficiently, report maintenance issues quickly, and help deliver a warm, seamless stay.
Key ResponsibilitiesBedrooms & Bathrooms: Clean, make beds to standard, refresh towels/linen, amenities and minibars; detail clean high-touch points; restock coffee/tea and Nespresso; check hairdryer, lamps and TV are working.
Public Areas: Keep entrances, corridors, stairwells, lounges, and guest WCs immaculate; polish glass/mirrors, dust, vacuum and mop to schedule.
Linen & Laundry: Sort and count linen; follow FIFO; bag, label and store correctly; record shortages/damages; manage lost property logs.
Turnarounds: Prioritise stayovers vs departures; work to room lists and timings; update room statuses promptly so FOH can check guests in without delay.
Maintenance & Safety: Report and log faults (lighting, plumbing, appliances) immediately; escalate urgent issues. Follow COSHH, colour-coding, and safe chemical use; keep stores tidy and secure.
Standards & Presentation: Set correct room layouts, collateral and welcome notes; ensure windows, skirting, taps, grout and chrome are spotless; finish with a final room check.
Compliance: Adhere to H&S/food safety procedures manual handling best practice, and company SOPs.
Pride in high standards, a keen eye for detail and a calm, organised approach.
Experience in hotel/pub rooms is helpful (training given).
Reliability, good timekeeping, and clear, friendly communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team.
Right to work in the UK and fluent spoken English.
Structured induction with daily checklists and brand standards.
H&S, COSHH and manual-handling training (CPL)
Predominantly daytime shifts, including weekends and key seasonal dates.
Part-time and full-time hours available.
