About You

You’ll be a confident and approachable individual with a genuine passion for customer service.

You’ll enjoy working in a guest-facing environment, managing multiple priorities and ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, accuracy and care. You’ll remain calm and organised during busy periods and take pride in representing the Unity Holidays brand.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a positive, solutions-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests, holiday homeowners and visitors
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
  • Act as a central point of information for guests regarding the resort, facilities, services and local area
  • Respond to guest enquiries in person, by telephone and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns calmly, resolving where possible and escalating appropriately
  • Process bookings, amendments and walk-in reservations using approved systems
  • Take payments, pre-authorisations and refunds in line with financial procedures
  • Ensure all guest accounts are settled prior to departure
  • Maintain accurate booking notes, records and reports
  • Prepare arrival packs, reports and documentation ahead of guest arrival
  • Liaise with Accommodation, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Security teams to support smooth guest stays
  • Produce and distribute arrival and departure lists accurately
  • Promote Unity Holidays’ facilities, activities and services to enhance the guest experience
  • Upsell upgrades and added extras where appropriate and in line with training
  • Follow all cash handling, key control, security and GDPR procedures

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain calm, organised and guest-focused in busy environments
  • Good IT skills and confidence using booking or administrative systems

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service or holiday environments
  • Experience handling payments and basic financial administration
  • Familiarity with booking or guest management systems

Safeguarding & Compliance

This role requires compliance with safeguarding, data protection, health & safety and security procedures.
A DBS check may be required depending on responsibilities and site requirements.

Hours of Work

Guest Experience operations run across weekends, evenings and peak holiday periods.
Flexibility to work variable shifts is essential.
