Our parks are at the heart of what we do, and we are now looking for a Head of Facilities to lead the safe, efficient and high-quality operation of Unity Seven Lakes Country Park. This is a pivotal role responsible for infrastructure, compliance, environmental standards and overall park presentation — ensuring we deliver a premium experience for our Owners and guests.

About You

You’re a visible, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and takes real pride in standards.

You bring strong experience across facilities, maintenance or park operations, with the ability to lead multiple teams and deliver results through others.

You’re commercially aware, highly organised and proactive, with a natural ability to plan, prioritise and solve problems — particularly in a dynamic and evolving business.

You’re resilient, solutions-focused and comfortable operating in an environment where priorities shift as we continue to build and improve.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior operational, facilities or site management role
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing multi-skilled teams and driving performance
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost efficiencies
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Maintenance Management

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of all park facilities including holiday homes, infrastructure, utilities, roads, lighting and assets
  • Implement robust planned and reactive maintenance programmes
  • Ensure the park is maintained to a premium standard year-round

Caravan Moving & Siting Operations

  • Take ownership of all holiday home siting, moving and installation activity
  • Coordinate new siting, relocations and removals safely and efficiently
  • Oversee base preparation, utility connections and final presentation
  • Ensure all works meet regulatory and manufacturer standards

 

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Act as the park’s Health & Safety lead
  • Ensure compliance across HSE, gas, electrical, fire and water safety
  • Lead audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Ensure all siting and operational activities are risk assessed and controlled

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop facilities, maintenance, grounds, siting and security teams
  • Build a high-performing, accountable and multi-skilled team
  • Manage recruitment, training, rotas and performance
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, ownership and service excellence

Owner & Guest Experience

  • Ensure all environments are safe, clean and contribute to a high-quality experience
  • Deliver fast and effective resolution of maintenance issues
  • Support new owner handovers and installations
  • Drive improvements in satisfaction and feedback

Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Own and manage facilities and maintenance budgets
  • Drive efficiencies through in-house capability and reduced contractor reliance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising standards
  • Support long-term capital planning

Contractor & Supplier Management

  • Manage external contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure safe, compliant and value-driven delivery

Grounds, Lakes & Environmental Management

  • Oversee landscaped areas, lakes and environmental systems
  • Ensure water safety and environmental compliance
  • Promote sustainable practices across the park

Desirable

  • Experience within a holiday park or similar environment
  • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
  • Experience working with holiday homeowners and ownership models
  • Experience in large-scale or multi-site operations
