Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full-time Waiter/Waitress to join Head Chef Emilio Carbone, General Manager Sandrine Probst and our team at Locket’s on St James’s Street, Green Park.

-          Offering approx. £11 to £12 per hour or £25,500 to £28,000 per annum plus yearly bonus

-          5 straight shifts or approximately 45 hours a week Monday to Friday with weekends off

-          The restaurant is closed on weekends, 10 days over Christmas, 2 weeks in August, 4 days over the Easter weekend and Bank holidays

-          28 days holidays (inc. bank holidays) + additional days given for years of service

Who are we?

 

Locket’s is a 60-cover per service, all-day café and wine bar, offering coffees, lunch and dinner to the local community to eat in, take away with in the summer months, the opportunity of outside dining. Locket’s provides a casual alternative to the local restaurants, a more comfortable option than the local fast-food chains for coffees, drinks and lunch in the area. In the evening, Locket’s has an extensive wine list by the glass, perfect for people wishing to catch up with friends after work while offering an extensive selection of tapas inspired dishes.

 

Our Mission is to create a sanctuary away from work and home; an accessible, comfortable, and enticing environment for people to relax for a moment in their busy lives. To continue the heritage of the Wiltons Holdings group by offering impeccable quality and service.

What can you bring to the team and what to expect?

 

-          At least 1 years’ experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a similar sized restaurant

-          Good knowledge of international food and wine

-          Good knowledge of the different grape varieties and wine styles

-          A working knowledge of spirits and classic cocktails

-          Experience in serving different styles of dishes and their accompaniments

-          Able to clear a table for up to four people

-          High level of awareness and ability to anticipate guest needs

-          Have experience and a good awareness of opportunities to improving sales

-          Have exceptional customer service and communication skills

-          Be able to work in a fast paced and pressured restaurant environment

-          Can speak, understand, and write in English fluently

-          Will take pride in their appearance and be well-presented and always groomed
