THE ROLE

OVERVIEW

Attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do, from product choice and menu development to creating the perfect environment throughout the day, every day.

At F1 Arcade, our team provides the best of the best service within hospitality to our guests, from the first approach to their goodbye. You must lead by example in everything you do.

You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and strong leadership skills to be a successful manager. F1 Arcade Managers must be able to anticipate all logistics and requirements for the venue and show exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and ensure the venue generates profit for the company.

To be an organized and goal-orientated manager to assist with the venue's day-to-day operations.

You will  be responsible for the overall running of daily reception operations – supporting your team, service standards, team development and ongoing reviewing of the guest journey.

You must be a proactive manager with proven experience in carrying out staff appraisals, career reviews and dealing with grievances and disciplinaries. The role requires someone with a high level of customer service when sometimes in high-pressure situations. 

You will need experience in busy and high-end establishments and a deep knowledge of any booking system.

The goal of all employees is to deliver the best hospitality experience for our guests, which makes them want to return; you should be full of positivity, high energy, a proud and loyal representative of the F1Arcade brand.

You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive, with excellent communication and time management skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the face of F1 Arcade – Welcome the Guests and Staff with a strong sense of positivity.
  • Managing the greeting and seating of all our guests.
  • Answering phones, making bookings, recording messages and returning phone calls.
  • Ensure pre-orders are pre-prepared before each booking and briefing all the staff.
  • Monitored the necessary arrangement for the VIP guests
  • Provide helpful information to guests to prepare them for the visit.
  • Work alongside the sales and events team on venue showcasing.
  • Experience gained using the booking system, registering and sending copies and reports.
  • To have a good knowledge and understanding of all food and drink menus and packages and to ensure the best service for our guests.
  • To communicate with the General Manager regarding any problems or issues with bookings/enquiries / pre-orders and sims issues
  • Supervising all staff, including security, FOH/BOH staff, and maintenance/tech personnel
  • Deliver best-in-class training and development plans
  • Supervising the operations of events and tending to any incidents or queries
  • Communicating and enforcing all security regulations and protocols.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

  • At least two years experience as a reception manager in a high-volume establishment.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Sound knowledge of safety measures and risk management strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  •  Good computer skills, knowledge of booking system software, collins preferred
