The Big Table Group currently has an opening for a Graphic Designer based in our support office in Central London, just a five-minute
walk from Oxford Circus.
We are one of the largest leading restaurant
companies in the UK, operating over 200 sites at various locations across the
country which includes brands such as Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny's,
Banana Tree, Chiquito and Las Iguanas.
As Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in
supporting the Marketing team with creative projects that enhance our brand
presence. You will be responsible for creating and designing assets for all the
Leisure Division brands (Frankie & Bennys, Chiquito, Filling Station, Coast to Coast, & Est), ensuring that all brand outputs deliver the highest
standards of creativity, brand consistency, and quality across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Marketing Manager and digital teams to
develop creative concepts for new campaigns and calendar initiatives on time.
- Lead the creation of social assets and respond to
local marketing requests.
- Assist in the creation of digital and print design
assets, including menus, posters, promotional materials, and point-of-sale
materials at a brand, operational, and promotional level.
- Support the Marketing Manager with menu design,
including editing pricing and layout/format.
- Take a lead role in driving creative excellence and
innovation in all briefs.
- Prepare artwork for print and liaise with external
suppliers where necessary.
- Recommend improvements to point-of-sale and
in-restaurant communications to ensure that our customer-facing environments
maintain high standards and deliver on brand expectations.
- Implement brand guidelines across all assets, ensuring
the correct and consistent use of the brand.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and help develop
creative concepts.
- Stay up to date with design trends and best practices,
particularly within the hospitality and casual dining industry.
- Manage print production, ensuring artwork is correctly
formatted and delivered to printers efficiently.
- Provide some copywriting support for marketing
materials and brand communications.
- Work with agency partners and freelancers to support
project execution.
- Assist in supporting photoshoots, including developing
moodboards.
- Load assets onto web-to-print systems and manage the
system to ensure assets are up to date and available for use.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required or
requested.
Skills & Experience
- A degree or relevant qualification
in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a design role,
preferably in the food & beverage, hospitality or retail sectors where high
levels of creative input and autonomy are required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or video editing
(e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Strong typography, layout, and branding skills.
- Understanding of social media trends and digital
content creation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to
detail.
