The Role
We’re looking for a part time Night Porter to join our team and be the friendly, reliable presence that keeps Longridge House running smoothly overnight. You’ll be the first point of contact for late check-ins, assist guests with requests, and help ensure the hotel is safe, secure, and looking its best for the day ahead.
What You’ll Be Doing
Greeting and assisting guests during the night hours
Managing any late check-ins and early check-outs
Ensuring security and safety throughout the hotel
Setting up or refreshing event spaces for the following day
Light cleaning and tidying of public areas
Supporting other departments when needed
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, approachable manner with great customer service skills
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Previous hotel or night shift experience is a bonus, but not essential
Good attention to detail and pride in presentation
Hours & Pay
Approx 2 night a week plus holiday cover
Night shifts (typically 11pm–7am) on a rota basis
Hourly rate up to £12.71
