As an Omakase Chef, you will play a leading role in delivering an intimate, seamless dining journey, working with the highest quality ingredients to create precise, elegant, and thoughtful dishes while engaging directly with guests.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the Omakase service, delivering a refined, story-driven tasting menu with confidence and precision.
Work closely with the Executive Head Chef to develop, evolve, and execute seasonal menus aligned with LUNA’s philosophy.
Prepare and present dishes with exceptional technique, balance, and attention to detail in an open-kitchen setting.
Demonstrate mastery of traditional and modern Japanese culinary techniques while embracing innovation and creativity.
Handle the finest seasonal and premium ingredients with respect, ensuring minimal waste and maximum flavour.
Engage with guests throughout the dining experience, sharing knowledge, inspiration, and storytelling behind each course.
Maintain impeccable mise en place, cleanliness, and organisation at all times.
Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene, health, and safety, ensuring excellence across every service.
Proven experience as an Omakase Chef or senior-level chef within a high-end Japanese or Omakase restaurant.
Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, techniques, and traditions, with a deep passion for Omakase dining.
Exceptional knife skills and a refined approach to precision, balance, and plating.
Experience working in intimate, high-intensity kitchens with a strong focus on personalised guest interaction.
