We are currently recruiting for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join our team at 67 Pall Mall.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join a great team of professionals. We are looking for a truly passionate professional looking to develop their career.
The restaurant itself is a beautiful, uniquely designed space with bespoke tableware & one of the largest wine lists in the country.
This position is hourly paid with a starting wage of £16.41/hour.
As Head Waiter you will be responsible for liaising with the managers, floor team and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. As Head Waiter / Waitress you will supervise the junior members of the floor team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards expected within a timely manner.
As Head Waiter your duties will include:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a busy, private members’ club or high-quality restaurant environment
- Managing your section within the restaurant efficiently & professionally
- Awareness of the menu & preparation of dishes
- Completing the set-up of the restaurant
- Building a rapport with members
- Maintaining the standards set for service by the Restaurant Manager
- Have an excellent understanding of all areas within a restaurant
- Are excellent team players with a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
- Develop good relationships with members and knowledge of their tastes and preferences
