Description

Social Media Manager

Location: London, with travel between Loveday residences

Salary: 50k per annum

About Loveday

Loveday is the UK’s only senior living Members Club, delivering exceptional hospitality alongside specialist nursing expertise across its distinguished Residences in Belgravia, Kensington and Abbey Road.

The 1150 Club is Loveday’s specialist post-operative rehabilitation offering, combining expert rehabilitation, personalised support and exceptional hospitality.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence of both Loveday and The 1150 Club.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership of paid social. You will own the social strategy across both brands, from content and campaign development through to audience targeting, lead generation, optimisation and reporting.

You will have proven experience managing paid social campaigns and budgets, particularly across Meta, and understand how to use audience segmentation, retargeting and performance data to generate qualified leads and improve return on investment.

Alongside paid social, you will lead the organic content strategy, oversee photography and video production, manage social channels and ensure both brands maintain a distinctive and elevated digital presence.

This role is suited to someone already operating at a senior level. It is not a junior or purely content-focused social media position.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Delivery

  • Develop and execute the social media strategy across Loveday and The 1150 Club.
  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and channel management across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Lead organic and paid social campaigns, ensuring they support both brand and commercial objectives.
  • Develop content calendars and campaign plans across both brands and individual Residences.
  • Act as brand guardian for visual identity and tone of voice.

Paid Social & Performance

  • Own the planning, execution and optimisation of paid social campaigns, primarily across Meta.
  • Manage paid social budgets and optimise campaigns against leads, CPL, conversion and ROI.
  • Develop and refine audience, prospecting and retargeting strategies.
  • Test creative, messaging and audiences to continually improve performance.
  • Use CRM and lead data to understand lead quality and the customer journey.
  • Monitor tracking, attribution and campaign performance, turning data into actionable recommendations.

Content & Community

  • Plan, produce and edit photography, video and graphic content for social channels.
  • Build and manage a structured content calendar.
  • Brief and manage photographers, videographers, creators and agencies where required.
  • Identify strong stories and experiences from across the Residences and turn them into engaging content.
  • Manage community interactions and influencer/creator collaborations.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Deliver regular social performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse organic, paid and influencer performance.
  • Monitor platform developments, trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, senior stakeholders, agencies and external partners to deliver effective social campaigns.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant professional experience in social media management within a premium, luxury, hospitality, wellness or lifestyle brand.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, particularly Meta Ads Manager.
  • Experience managing paid media budgets and optimising campaigns for lead generation and commercial results.
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, segmentation and retargeting.
  • Experience using social analytics and performance data to inform decisions.
  • Strong creative eye and experience producing photography, video and graphic content.
  • Excellent understanding of Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident working independently and managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, commercially minded and results-driven approach.
