Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and proactive Marketing Manager to lead and coordinate a wide range of marketing activities across digital and traditional channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and has a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimising campaigns that drive engagement, support sales, and enhance the visibility of our brand. From content creation and social media management to SEO, website updates, paid advertising, and event promotion—you will be involved in all aspects of our marketing function.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external agencies. A solid understanding of digital marketing tools, performance analysis, and brand management is essential. Key Responsibilities

Website Management and SEO

  • Maintain and update the website using WordPress, ensuring events, news, and other relevant content are refreshed regularly to keep the site current and engaging.
  • Ensure on-page SEO best practices, including keyword optimisation, meta tags, alt text, internal linking, and content structuring, to improve organic search visibility.
  • Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, identifying areas for improvement in traffic, engagement, and user journey.
  • Collaborate with content creators and external agencies to ensure all website content is optimised for search and aligned with brand messaging.
  • Oversee general website maintenance to enhance functionality, load speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.

Digital Marketing & Paid Media

  • Manage and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
  • Execute targeted social media campaigns that align with brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with agencies on creatives, targeting, and messaging.
  • Track and analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns.
  • Ensure social media content is on-brand and support sales teams with posting and engagement.
  • Monitor and improve online reputation through review management.
  • Report on campaign results and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices.

Content Creation & Management

  • Assist in developing content for the monthly sales and family newsletters.
  • Produce weekly articles for carehome.co.uk. and Google My Business profiles and maintain listings up to date.
  • Review and refine blog content (two posts per week) for the company website, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.

Event Promotion & Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the activities and sales teams to ensure events are effectively executed and promoted across multiple platforms.
  • Promote open days and key events by uploading content across carehome.co.uk, Google My Business, and social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the design agency to ensure the timely production of promotional materials and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate the ordering of marketing merchandise and signage.
  • Support sales teams by coordinating promotional materials for events and business development activities.

Campaign & Brand Management

  • Ensure all marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media assets, align with brand guidelines and templates, maintaining a consistent tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Oversee the placement of advertising across online and offline channels, ensuring campaigns are well-targeted and aligned with brand strategy.
  • Work with external agencies to ensure all digital and print campaigns are executed effectively and on time.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop creative concepts and fresh ideas.
  • Demonstrate initiative and bring fresh perspectives to continuously strengthen the brand’s presence across online, offline, and media channels, including proposing innovative ideas for PR, media outreach, and brand storytelling.

Project Management

  • Effectively manage deadlines, set priorities, and coordinate projects to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are executed efficiently while upholding brand consistency across all platforms.

Marketing Administration & Coordination

  • Filing, ordering, and organising marketing assets and materials.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure assets are properly stored and accessible.
  • Assist in general marketing administrative duties, including ad hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong Project Management – Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines across various channels with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise – Solid understanding of website management (WordPress), SEO best practices, social media strategy, and paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta platforms, etc.).
